i kind of love a bit of everything. <3

what a great feeling.

so a while back i had submitted a photo or two here and there on the yen magazine website, for their “photo of the day” , with no success.

however, lately i have been overcome with joy to now have two of my photos published on the website. it’s a great feeling for such a small piece of recognition, but just to know that if you don’t stop trying, eventually things do and can happen.

check out the photo’s on the yen magazine website:

melbourne.

i love melbourne.

You tell me you don’t want anything
But you wanted to tell me that
You tell me you don’t expect anything
But you expect from me to call you back

You tell me you don’t need anyone
Well, why don’t you disappear
You tell me you don’t need anyone
Well, why are you standing here

I’m not gonna make a scene
I walk slowly out of the room
I’m not gonna pull out my hair
Listening to the sh*t that they’re feeding you
No darling, there is nothing I can do

I tell you I don’t want anyone
But I don’t want you to go
I tell you I don’t need the answers
But I really really want to know
Tell you I don’t mind where you’re going
But I wanna know where you have been
I tell you I don’t mind being alone
But I wanna know who you’ve seen

You’re not gonna make a show
You walk slowly out of my dream
You’re not gonna pull out your hair
Listening to the sh*t that they’re feeding me
Oh darling, there is nothing you can do

Oh darling, there is nothing I can do

my world.

for a short holiday in time.

i love: weheartit.

i love: weheartit.

so at some point in the new year (2012) my cousin carly and i are going to start planning our overseas trip for 2013.

we have no idea where to start researching, planning and routing where it is we want to go, how to get there, how long for and such and such.

one thing we have agreed on is to both have a visual diary as such of countries we’d like to visit, and hopefully if the interest is mutual we will go from there.

so far i know i’d like to go to india, peru, tibet, nepal, turkey, malta, greece, spain and morocco.

the rest is very much undecided.
